Detaching water-based graphite for Steel and Ferrous metal
Renite S-26 (liquid dense - application: atomization)
Renite S-26 is a water-based, concentrate containing sinthetic graphite, used in forging of ferrous metals, including stainless steel. Renite S-26 is sprayed to dies at temperature in the range of 150°C to 427°C; the water vehicle evaporates, leaving a solid film lubricant coating well suited to high temperature and high pressure applications. Renite S-26 is supplied as a concentrate; after dilution, done with clean tap water, the mixture should be provided with a little agitation to maintain the graphite suspension.
Renite S-26 HP (liquid dense - application: atomization)
Improved formula of Renite S-26 with the addition of finer sized, premium graphite and additives with greatly improved surface adhesion characteristics. It is for high performance.
It is an economy version of Renite S-26, because it contains amorphous graphite optimal for simple forging and extrusion.
Detaching water-based graphite for Aluminum
Renite S-28 (liquid dense - application: atomization)
Renite S-28 is a dispersion of graphite in water recommended as a lubricant and release agent for aluminum forging and extrusion operations. This lubricant is sprayed on working surfaces of tools and dies at temperature between 300° - 600°F (150° - 315°C), at the time of spraying, and the water vehicle evaporates leaving a solid graphitic film coating. This coating is well suited to high temperature and high pressure applications. Renite S-28 is supplied as a concentrate and it must be diluted with clean tap water. After dilution the mixture should be provided with a little agitation to maintain graphite suspension. Renite S-28 reduces build-up problems, even on narrow draft die. The metal-working operation is carried out without smoke, fumes and flames.
Renite S-28-A (liquid dense - application: atomization)
Renite S-28-A is a heavy duty variant of Renite S-28.
Detaching water-based graphite for Aluminum, Brass and Copper
Renite S-29 (liquid dense - application: atomization)
Renite S-29, improved formula of Renite S-28, is a complex water and graphite dispersion containing a variety of suspending agents and high temperature, extreme pressure lubrication enhancing additives. This lubricant is sprayed on working surfaces of tools and dies at temperature between 300° - 600°F (150° - 315°C), at the time of spraying. Renite S-29 is optimum for aluminum, copper and brass forging.
Detaching oil-based graphite for Steel
(liquid dense - application: atomization or swabbing)
Renite #45-HT is a graphited oil with proprietary dispersants for metal forming applications, especially when using molds with pins and punches. Renite #45-HT has high boiling point base oil (355°C = 670 ± 30°F); when applied to a hot metal surface, the oil vehicle boils away cleanly to leave a silvery-black solid lubricant film. This film reduces frictions, prevents the hot metal work-piece from sticking to the die and protects the surface from oxidation. Renite #45-HT is a ready to use lubricant, suitable for spray or swab application. For applications where a lighter lubricant is needed, Renite #45-HT may be blended with a clean, light oil.
